Sorry, but I'm going completely mad, Most of the times I can't comment on my own blog and answer inquiries. Sometimes it helps to log out and log in again, sometimes it doesn't. I'm tired to find a workaround, the hoster doesn't seem to be able to solve the prob. BTW, I'm using an always updated Firefox.
If anybody knows a solution please let me know.

My wife was going nuts keeping her blog quiltotaku.blogspot.com working. There were various symptoms and issues, here are a few suggestions:
ReplyDelete1) Try a different browser. IE worked horribly, and then my wife started using Firefox. I know you are using Firefox already, so perhaps try Chrome.
2) Check your antivirus/firewall config. We use Norton and with every minor browser update its firewall changes it back to "auto" rather than "allow". When on "auto", Norton kills a lot of Google/Blogspot packets and almost constantly logs us out. "Allow" makes it leave the browser alone completely.
3) Upgrade to the latest/under development Blogspot interface rather than the classic. It seems to be more compatible with the latest browsers.
Good luck!

ReplyDelete:)
Thank you very much for your assistance. It's funny I can comment now without any change I made. It's really unpredictable if it works or not.
ReplyDeletethis and most importantly a very irritating post editor made me leave blogspot after 5 years i think. i know this is not the answer you were looking for but there are better platforms than this. personally, i like posterous a lot. it's quite easy to use (you can just email the content and the site posts for you) and seems to have more decency. on the bad side, customization is a bit trickier without some solid css knowledge. nevertheless i recommend it. and no, i have no affiliation with it whatsoever :)
ReplyDeleteDue to the fact that I have an older computer, I am stuck using Firefox 3.6 and I had been unable to comment on any blogspot blogs until I enabled 3rd party cookies. Check under Firefox/Preferences/Privacy and make sure that it's set to accept 3rd party cookies. Maybe that works for the newer version of Firefox as well.
ReplyDeleteSometimes complaining works. :) Thanks for this awesome blog by the way.
ReplyDeleteHi again, yesterday it didn't work, today it's OK againm but only after writing and saving a test post.
ReplyDeleteWordpress: I tried to have a look there, they have an animation - something like snow - that eats up 100 % of my CPU power, a 2 GHz CPU and the pc is almost frozen. ARE THEY ALL CRAZY?
I really like this blog ,Christian Louboutin will remember the attention to it.
ReplyDeleteI just processed 4 films in caffenol; Yeehaw! is about the best thing I can come say about it. They look really good so far, but they're still wet so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to take a close look. I'd send them to you, but I don't have a scanner.
ReplyDeleteAs I was adding the Vit.C to the soda, it fizzed away and I suppose it was neutralised, so I don't know what it does except adjust the ph a little. That thought of, I wondered if another acid might work as well—tataric, for instance, better known in the kitchen as cream of tartar. or something equally common and cheap.
I'll give it a try and let you know.

Hi Ax,
ReplyDeleteVit-C does A LOT MORE than adjusting the pH a little. You can't substitute it. Btw, the agent adjusting the pH and nothing more is the washing soda!
"I'll give it a try and let you know." Try it, but you mustn't let me know. I already know the result :-)
